The position
As Associate Finance Partner for Insights in R&
D Finance, you will be responsible for driving decision making with insights and translating the investment strategy into long term financial forecasts for the portfolio. In addition to that, you will:

• Be engaging with a large variety of stakeholders across the value chain to discuss and assess the financial impact of therapy area strategies, progression of pipeline assets, ramping up new technology platforms and business development activities.
• Work with setting the productivity ambition for the Research and Development organisations by working closely with senior stakeholders and strategy teams.
• Be owning and working with our Business Intelligence, systems and data-models which are tracking if we execute on our investment strategy.
• Owning the intangible asset forecasting and Alliance Management finance partnering
• Be a part of a newly established team and work closely together with the Finance Partners for the broader R&
  D organisation.

Qualifications
As our ideal candidate, you hold a master’s degree within Business, Economics, Finance or Life Science and you are about to start your career or have up to 3 years of relevant experience. The title will be assessed based on your current level of experience and ability. In addition to that, you:

• Have a passion for financial decision making and pharmaceutical drug development and you have a solid problem-solving toolbox, creative mindset and eagerness to further improve your financial skillset.
• Have strong stakeholder management skills and are good at building relations.
• Have a track record of driving projects independently, and you are expert in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience within data-modelling and business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI and Tableau is a plus, but not a must-have.

About the department
The R&
D Finance Business Development, Insights &
Systems department is driving and coordinating the R&
D Finance contribution to due diligence and integration processes for all business development activities. Additionally, the team has responsibility for the R&
D long term financial forecasting and provides input to asset valuations and therapy area strategies. The team develops and manages R&
D Finance systems and works as anchor point for business intelligence activities within R&
D Finance.
