What can you look forward to

You have a global responsibility for Procurement Excellence and for Procurement Business Intelligence. This means you and your team play a key role in the transformation and improvement of our processes, digital tools, insights, analytics, contracting approach and anything else deemed important for the development of Hempel’s sourcing and procurement practices within indirect and direct procurement.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Own Procurement strategy and transformation plans

• Drive execution of plans within Procurement globally and with stakeholders

• Manage steering committees for direct and indirect

• Manage stakeholders across Hempel, including Finance, Operations, Digital, Business Segments, Corporate Functions, and more.

• Personally run digital procurement implementation

• Manage a team of four in Denmark / Poland

An experienced change leader

We are looking for someone with solid management and transformation experience (+7 years) with a strong background in sourcing and procurement functions. To manage your responsibilities, you must have great communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to find ways forward together with stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation. You have the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.

You might have a Master’s degree within Economics, Engineering or something completely different. Regardless, success in this role will be defined by your ability to liaise with your team, with Group Procurement team globally, as well as with the rest of the Hempel team.

You will work out of our office in Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark, and some travelling is expected (30-50 days).
