About the position

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll be an integral part of our collaborative finance team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer based in Denmark, you'll be working closely with the other local finance business partners to drive financial strategies tailored to the local specific needs of Cepheo.You will also work closely with the business to monitor and enhance financial performance, acting as the “local watchdog” to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency.

Additionally, you’ll be be managing many stakeholders across the organization and you will be collaborating effectively with colleagues at all levels. You’ll also be a part of the local management team, participate in weekly management meetings alongside with managers and the Country Manager and thus be able to influence strategic decisions that will shape the future of our Cepheo.

Hybrid remote

If you are applying for the position as Finance Business Partner for Cepheo Denmark, you can expect to work from our office in Carlsbergbyen, with the flexibility to work from home a few times a week. Our new Finance Business Partner for Cepheo Sweden will be working from our office in Malmö and will also have the opportunity to work from home. It is thus a requirement that you live closeby to one of these locations and are fluent in the local language (Danish or Swedish).

Responsibilities

• Act as a close partner to the business, ensuring a deep understanding of operational performance and financial metrics
• Monitor customer time for employees and teams against budgets and previous periods, identifying and addressing low performance
• Collaborate with the Polish team on time registration follow-ups
• Review hours posted on customer projects, that has not yet been invoiced
• Analyze financial numbers against budgets and previous periods (incl. forecasting) and prepare reports for monthly business reviews with group management
• Conduct contribution ratio analysis on customers and projects, identifying improvements areas and executing strategies with the Country Manager and Project Managers
• Perform hourly rate analyses and seek opportunities for improvement
• Support the Country Manager with insights and data on company performance
• Participate in monthly business reviews with the local management and the Nordic Leadership Team
• Calculate bonuses based on individual goals and coordinate approval with the Country Manager
• Support Head of Accounting in group management and board reporting
• Lead budgeting processes for the fiscal year and manage local financial reporting, as well as the yearly audit process
• Address customer payment issues and undertake local assignments incl. tax, VAT, government reporting, and board secretarial duties
• Conduct sales reviews, managing opportunity follow-ups, pipeline, quality, deal pricing, and sales to invoice processes
• Cash management, transfer pricing and consolidation

Requirements

• Preferably 2-5 years of experience within Finance, for example as a former Finance Business Partner, controller, accountant or auditor
• Preferred educational background in finance or related fields such as business economics or accounting
• A strategic thinker with a strong financial background and a proven trackrecord of supporting business decisions with actionable data and insights
• Experienced in financial planning, analysis, and operational financial reporting, and auditing processes
• Skilled in sales controlling, with an ability to manage opportunity pipelines and validate deal pricing effectively
• Exceptional Englishcommunication skills
