We are seeking a new Financial Accountant for to join our growing team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The team has been established in the last year and continues to grow whilst working closely with other finance teams in Denmark.

Your mission
Your mission is to bring in your experience and curiosity into the team, assist on managing all accounts receivable related tasks, become an important gate keeper on AR process execution with a mandate to change to improve and help ensure high quality and meet the expectations of our stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee various tasks related to AR processes, including customer payments (cash receipts and direct debit), customer correspondence, maintaining customer master data, and the collection/dunning process.
• Continuously support the business and colleagues in following bookkeeping principles.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for accounts receivable activities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Support ongoing finance projects and contribute to process optimization efforts.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

What you bring
We are seeking someone who has been in a Financial Accountant position previously or has experience from a similar role.

Moreover, you bring:

• Extensive financial bookkeeping experience at a high level.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, regardless of their financial expertise.
• Collaborative approach to work, demonstrating support for colleagues and seeking assistance when needed.
• Desire for continuous learning and professional development.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
