Role Overview
:

The role will include weekly and monthly financial reporting for Sales, Marketing &
ESG, ensuring all relevant reconciliations are completed. Provide support to the Commercial Controller to achieve the tasks required by running and analysing reports accurately and to strict timelines and following up with relevant personnel.

Duties &
Responsibilites:

  • Prepare weekly Sales report including week on week analysis of sales, margin and price per kg.
  • Assist in the monthly reporting for the Sales &
    Marketing department.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets &
    forecast for the Sales &
    Marketing department.
  • Review and report monthly on debtor balances including debtors’ days and trend analysis.
  • Provide insightful and impactful analysis, including deep dives into trade performance e.G. promotion performance.
  • Reconciliation of long-term customer discounts to ensure that all liabilities are accrued correctly.
  • Support the Commercial Controller as required e.G weekly accounts, KPI reporting, monthly customer deck and year-end audit.
  • Assist in the implementation of internal controls.
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses as required.

Requirements

Experience

  • Experience with Excel to an intermediate\ Advanced level – lookups, pivot tables, sumifs etc [Essential].
  • Business acumen and an understanding of finance\ Production\inventory related systems. [Essential].
  • Prior experience within a manufacturing organisation - ideally within FMCG. [Advantageous].
  • Prior experience dealing with reconciliations and large volumes of data. [Advantageous].

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 7 Business or other qualification [Essential].
  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA) [Essential].
  • MS Office/ECDL/Excel or other database qualifications [Advantageous].
