The Position
We are looking for an engaging and versatile IT/OT Engineer, to take a key role in our Digital Technology team. You will be joining the global IT team in a highly critical role where your primary responsibilities will be:

• Provide subject matter expertise on IT/OT space, advising best practice.
• Contribute to the IT/OT infrastructure design and governance.
• Build and configure IT/OT infrastructure.
• Maintain IT/OT infrastructure.
• Manage IT/OT infrastructure projects.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IT/OT engineering, possessing in-depth knowledge of IT/OT regulations and frameworks (NIS-2, IEC62443, ISO27001, NIST 800-82 and BARDA).

Ideally, you would be a Senior Operational Technology Engineer with exceptional technical expertise in the IT/OT space. Global IT is driving change across our assets, implementing IT/OT infrastructure aligned with the Purdue model. As a key member of the team you will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and securing our IT/OT infrastructure. You will drive adoption of the MCN projects across FDB. Your competences and skill set:

In all positions, there are some elements that are necessary, and others are a bonus. We believe these competences and skill sets are needed for you to excel in this role:

• Extensive hands-on experience in IT/OT engineering (10+ years).
• Bachelor’s degree, or relevant work experience.
• Experienced in the design and implementation of secure IT/OT architectures (especially aligned with purdue model).
• In-depth understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Advanced knowledge of operational technology such as PLCs, RTUs, and other industrial control devices.
• In-depth knowledge of OT/IT regulations and frameworks:
  NIS-D, IEC62443, ISO27001, NIST 800-82 and BARDA.
• Strong communication skill, previous experience working with IT and Automation departments.
• Experienced with SQL database administration.
• Experience of labratory, analytical equipment.
• You have a strong analytical mind, eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
• You have a natural drive for automation and simplification.
• Quality minded.
• High sense of responsibility.
• Strong english communication skills and solid team player.
• Experience from the Life Sciences industry is ideal but not required.
