STARK Group is looking for a Group Insurance Manager. In the role as Group Insurance Manager, you will work in Group Finance and report directly to the Vice President Group Treasury &
Insurance. You will have a broad, but close internal collaboration with various stakeholders across our Business Unites as well as externally comprising insurance brokers, insurance companies, etc. You will be based at the STARK Group Head Office, Frederiksberg (Greater Copenhagen).

Your responsibilities

  • Together with the VP Treasury &
    Insurance, maintain good relations with the Group insurers and brokers of STARK Group.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for STARK Groups insurance broker and Business Units on matters of insurance management and administration.
  • Assist, guide, and provide advice to STARK Business units on Group and local insurance requirements.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining best practices for insurance contractual terms towards suppliers and customers.
  • Drive and optimize insurance related data collection and premium allocations.
  • Ensure Group insurance coverage is understood incl. making insurance related materials available to STARK’s Business Units.
  • Assist with major claims, crisis management and Business Continuity Planning.
  • Assist with relevant loss prevention surveys and report/follow up with insurers.
  • Continuous review of STARK Group risks and challenges under the current insurance coverages regarding adequacy and optimal total cost of risk.
  • Drive insurance related projects within STARK.
  • Limited travel to be expected, but can mostly be planned in advance.

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a corporate, insurance broker or insurance company role in the field of risk and insurance management, preferably with international activities.
  • Completed B.Sc. or M.Sc. studies in area of Finance &
    Control, Legal, Engineering, or equivalent with relevance to insurance management.
  • Further qualifications or education within the insurance area considered an additional benefit.
  • Experience with/understanding of global insurance programs including benefits and challenges.
  • Broader understanding of legal aspects related to risk and insurance in agreements and contracts.
  • Your are fluent in English. German language skills would be beneficial, but is not a must.
