About the job:

You will develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies aligned with the company's objectives and regulatory requirements. You will provide legal advice and counsel to senior management, departments, and subsidiaries on a broad range of issues, including corporate governance, contracts, intellectual property, and compliance.

You will lead and manage a small team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture and you will be responsible for the negotiate and reviews of various agreements, contracts, and partnerships.

Supplementary responsibilities:

• Monitor and stay abreast of legislative developments and industry trends, advising on potential implications and opportunities for the organization.
• Oversee risk management activities, identifying potential legal risks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate them effectively.
• Guide the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and other interactions with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, customers, and partners.

Professional experience:

You have a master’s degree in legal. You have solid experience practicing general law in a corporate legal department or law firm, with a focus on commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

It is important that you have waste experience in contract- and risk management from a similar industry/company. You have experience leading others, or you could see yourself being a leader for a small team.

Personal characteristics
You have a positive “can-do” mindset and are able to lead and support your team to success by fostering collaboration, motivation and teamwork.

You have strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts effectively to non-legal stakeholders and you have a strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
