Opportunity:

Grand Joanne is looking for an In-House Sales Coordinator with a focus on meetings, events, and group bookings to expand our existing sales department. In this full-time position, you will work closely with your direct team consisting of our In-House Sales Coordinator and the Head of Commercial, as well as the hotel operations team to take care of client requests from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Answering incoming meeting, event and group booking requests via email and telephone
  • Proactively sourcing new business and upselling
  • Client care of existing clients to increase returning business
  • Handling all booking-related tasks such as contracting, creating event orders, briefing of operational departments, and billing
  • Setting up and optimizing SOPs and handlings to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Welcoming the clients on site being their point of contact in case of questions
  • Administrative tasks such as reporting and system administration
  • Creating new meeting &
    event offerings and campaigns together with the F&
    B team
  • Being the face of Grand Joanne during tours of the house, fairs, or events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the hotel M&
    E industry
  • Enthusiasm for tourism and hospitality
  • Ability to independently work on projects, prioritize tasks and schedule the working day
  • Willingness to work as a team in fast-paced, international environment
  • English on a professional level, Scandinavian languages are preferred
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Creative, solution-oriented thinking
  • Ability to occasionally work weekends and evenings if needed
