The IT Business Partner plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business objectives. The primary responsibility is to align technology solutions, strategies, and initiatives with the overall goals of the organization. By understanding the business landscape, facilitate effective communication, drive innovation, and ensure that technology investments contribute to Ramboll Denmark's success.

The IT Business Partner has the authority to recommend and define new services to be introduced on behalf of the business, but does not organize or procure the delivery of these services.

The IT Business Partner has authority to enforce Global IT Standards and policies within Ramboll Denmark. They may recommend updates or variations to these based on business requirements.

Your new role

As our new IT Business Partner, you will act as a bridge between Global IT and Ramboll Denmark, ensuring that technology solutions and strategies support the overall business strategy. Facilitate communication, provide technology insights, and help drive innovation and efficiency within the organization. Drive compliance with the Global IT standards within Ramboll Denmark while ensuring the service meets the needs of the business.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact between Ramboll Denmark and Global IT.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication, ensuring that technical concepts are understood by non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Ramboll Denmark stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and challenges. Translate these requirements into technology strategies that align with the organization's overarching objectives.
  • Lead change initiatives related to technology adoption. Provide guidance and support to teams during transitions, ensuring seamless integration of new tools and processes.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across various departments. Understand their unique needs and act as a trusted advisor on technology matters.
  • Capture new demand towards Global IT and work with Global IT to ensure business requirements are clearly articulated and validated.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient use of technology provided by Global IT.
  • Drive compliance with Global IT standards and support change management towards Global Platforms.
  • Complete regular IT End User Services Team performance reviews and manage escalations on behalf of Ramboll Denmark.
  • Report on IT KPIs to Ramboll Denmark Management. Ensure agreed Service Levels are met and identify areas of performance improvements
  • Act as the project owner for Ramboll Denmark specific IT projects.

Your new team

You will be part of our IT Business Partnering team.

As our new IT Business Partner for Denmark you will be part of a newly established IT Business Partnering function in Global IT. It is a diverse and supportive team spread across various locations, working towards the common goal of improving collaboration between Ramboll’s Business Units and Global IT. Ultimately the goal is to ensure Ramboll’s business success through better use of technology.

About you

These include:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • Typically, have 5+ years of Global IT and Ramboll Denmark work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments
  • Strong business acumen with working knowledge of the industry, major business processes, and key performance indicators
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment spanning different time zones and geographies.
  • Experience with program and portfolio management (desirable)
  • Broad understanding of current and emerging technology trends and developments
  • Strong working knowledge of governance policies and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff
  • Solid planning, financial, and performance management skills
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically
