2Do you want to – and have the talent to – lead the development of technical solutions in production, and test equipment within the Wind industry? Are you able to translate customer´s need into robust design in close cooperation with other areas of expertise within ENABL A/S? You will become part of the Equipment division in which you will lead the development of future intelligent equipment solutions for transport, installation, production and testing of wind turbine components. The Equipment division has two engineering departments;
Site Equipment and Production and Test Equipment (PE) and you will become part of the PE department.
In Production and Test Equipment Department we develop, design and verify production and test equipment for towers, monopiles, hubs, generators, blades, and nacelles manufacturing. We have assembly in house hence you will follow your solution from idea, over design to installed equipment at the customer.
The job
As Lead Engineer in Equipment you are responsible for the technical solutions and design of the equipmentfrom concept to validated and completed solutions and you have great impact on design and functionality of the final solution. In the development projects you have the functional management of highly skilled and creative mechanical and structural engineers in Denmark, Bulgaria, Ukraine and India.
As Lead Engineer your have the high-level overview of and responsibility for the design, the quality of the design work and the design timeline. Furthermore you are, in close cooperation with the project manager, responsible for keeping track of timelines and budgets in the projects you are in charge of.
Furthermore, your tasks and areas of responsibility will be to:

• Have a high-level overview of and responsibility for the technical solution, the quality of the engineering work and the design timeline.
• Cooperate with the Sales organization to understand the customer´s need and suggest concepts and technical solutions and support tender and quotation.
• Drive the idea generation, conceptual design, 3D modelling, structural verifications, 2D drawings and documentation performed by and in cooperation with the Mechanical, Structural and HW/SW/Electrical engineers.
• Plan and coordinate the design process, support the design and structural engineers and secure the quality of the design and the functionality of the solution match customers requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers to secure that the projects are planned and executed efficiently. You are in charge of design progress, time consumption and budget.
• During project execution, work with customer representatives to secure alignment between customers need and designed solution.
• In cooperation with machine safety specialists, secure that legal requirements are meet and the equipment is safe to assemble and use.
• Conduct and follow-up on concept- and design reviews.
• Cooperate with Supply Chain.
• Support the assembly.
• Conduct FAT (Final Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test).

Your profile
Preferably you havea Bachelor/Master´s degree in Mechanical Engineering orequivalent experience which has given you a thorough understanding of large and complex machinery.You have 5+ years of experience within engineering. Experience with development of equipment to thewind industryis preferred but not required. Experience from design of heavy intelligent machinery is equally welcome.
You are a Team player who strives to keep the team motivated. You are able to structure a development project and delegate and coordinate tasks as well as you are creative and have the ability to translate ideas into sustainable solutions.
Besides having strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all level in a global organization, you are proficient in English, written as well as verbally. With your profile, you are structured and resilient and able to thieve in a very dynamic and changing environment.
