AI Hub, AI technology is more than just a solution, it powers the Research, Development, Commercial, and functional business units that work tirelessly to save lives and bring valuable treatments to patients around the world. We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Machine Learning (ML) Engineer to join our AI and Analytics Products team to collaborate with the Discovery Research business function. As ML Engineer you will be part of a team of talented engineers… helping to develop and implement machine learning and AI solutions. You will work closely with Discovery Research stakeholders to ensure our machine learning initiatives catalyze Genmab’s ability to create, implement, and optimize machine learning models that will directly impact our pipeline and portfolio of medicines. Specifically in this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing machine learning systems, implementing appropriate ML algorithms, and conducting experiments, validation and monitoring. You will be effectively leading the complete lifecycle management of many machine learning models. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD) of ML algorithms and products within our cloud network. You will work with highly talented team of data scientists, data to create models, perform statistical analysis, and train and retrain systems to optimize performance. As ideal candidate you will possess strong programming skills, knowledge of data science, and expertise in statistics. Responsibilities Design, build, test, and deploy machine learning models over the clouds. Work with product owner, data analysts, data scientists to understand large datasets. Preprocess large dataset, structured as well as unstructured and extract features from them. In collaboration with data scientists, train and fine-tune predictive models using the data and analyze their performance to determine which will provide the most accurate results. Deploy the final models to production and monitor their performance and accuracy on regular basis, ensuring traceability of all produced results. Conduct machine learning tests and experiments, validations, model performance and lifecycle management. Stay updated with the latest developments in the field and share with internal/external teams. Lead CI/CD process and establish best practices of ML product deployments over the clouds. Contribute to the MLOps architecture design from deployment perspective, discussion, changes specially over the clouds. Keep abreast of industry trends and advances in machine learning and AI technology and leverage this knowledge to drive innovative solutions. Requirements Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in relevant technical area. Strong programming skills in Python. Other languages such as Java or C++ a bonus. Versioning control tools, Git, Gitlab, CI/CD tools, Dockers and Kubernetes. Experience with MLOps and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch and other open-source ML frameworks. Experience with ML operations tools such as MLflow or Weights &
Biases. Experience withcloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and ability to work independently. Knowledge of data science, machine learning &
deep learning models and expertise in statistics. A background within bioinformatics is nice to have. Experience withing pharma/biotech is not a must. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are motivated by a start-up environment. You have excellent verbal and written skills in English.
