Mechanical Engineer Intern

At ROICO we are developing a collaborative painting tool using robotic technology. We empower painters with a solution that works alongside them, allowing them to focus on high-value and value-creating tasks. This tool will help painters increase their productivity, reduce physically straining tasks, and address the labor shortage among painting companies.

We are looking for an Intern to assist with the electronics for our collaborative mobile painting robot

What will you do?

• Design different parts for our robot, that will be 3D printed or milled using a CNC
• Assemble subparts
• Stress test some of the key components
• Help optimize our design for manufacturing approach

What we look for

• Relevant (ongoing) education, in Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering
• An eye for details and aesthetics
• A proactive, problem-solving attitude
• Fluent in English
• Experience working with CAD, we are currently using Fusion 360
• Experience with 3D printing, and optionally with CNC-milling, sheet metal fabrication
