How to contribute to our vision

Are you a dedicated and driven individual, who has a background in Maintenance or Service? Do you want to join a dynamic and busy team supporting the operation of our windfarms? We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Offshore Heavy Lift Janett Yoke Super User or User, who works to daily objectives and delivering results that have a direct impact to the Wind Turbine ensures that all parts and tools are adequately stored and in good condition when used. Supports all Service/Warranty activities that require use of a large crane (Jack Up), (Inc. defective major component parts removal and replacement) &
/or participate in designated warranty campaigns.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

1. 
   
2. At all times ensuring compliance with Siemens Gamesa standards and UK legislation in relation to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), ensure these standards are improved as an individual and as a group, through active participation and engagement with SGRE EHS processes
   
3. As well as lifting duties, carry out technical duties (Mechanical/Electrical) on Wind turbine generator (WTG) to the highest quality standards
   
4. Provide technical instruction and guidance to peers and less experienced members of Heavy Lift Team
   
5. Ensure that all parts and tools are adequately stored and in good condition when used and any certification/inspection/calibration on tooling is managed to minimize disruption to the project
   
6. Working to daily objectives and delivering results that have a direct impact to the Wind Turbine
   
7. Participate in on call arrangements (flexibility is important)

Janett Yoke Super User or User experience

Previous experience of working in major component exchanges would be advantageous although full training will be provided for the right candidate without experience

Electrical and/or mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, rotating parts and control systems and qualifications i.E. National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) or City &
Guilds (or equivalent)

Ability to work with processes and procedures

Ability to work as a team, experience of working within mixed cultures is helpful

Strong organisational skills and communication skills

Able to communicate with other technicians and support personnel

Excellent customer service skills, ability to maintain good client relationships across multiple sites with different customer expectations
