Voyagerr is hiring an Operations Manager to strengthen our team in Aarhus, Denmark. Your contribution will be instrumental in guiding our team towards greater achievements. Voyagerr is at the forefront of innovative transportation solutions, developing and implementing digital platforms for planning, managing, operating, and integrating on-demand mobility/DRT (Demand Response Transport) services.

Job Description:

As Operations Manager at Voyagerr, you'll be at the heart of your team leading the operations for our Scandinavian projects. Your team is currently residing in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. You have the leadership skills to motivate and guide others through periods of growth and change. Your management skills and business acumen will be key to our collective success.

At Voyagerr we have developed a number of web and smartphone applications with more on the way, and we are in the process of migrating our customers to the new web and smartphone app based product portfolio as well as bringing new customers in the Nordics and the UK onto our platform for next generation software solutions. You will be responsible for leading the initiation, planning, execution, and follow-up of projects, ensuring the attainment of targeted outcomes.

The role involves transforming strategies into actionable goals, managing performance, and overseeing annual business planning with the full P&
L (profit and loss) responsibility for this department. You will collaborate closely with our management team and our HR Manager regarding our talent management programs yearly cycle, for recruitment needs and any other HR related topics.

Responsibilities:

  • Business strategy:
    Ensure the alignment of operations with the strategic goals of Voyagerr. Reporting of forecasts of your P&
    L, results, and KPI follow-ups.

  • Leadership:
    Guide operations in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The team you will be line manager for is currently eight employees with roles within project management and implementation.

  • Employment cycles:
    Manage recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, professional development, performance management and retention.

  • Relationship Building:
    Maintain and develop relationships with key clients, partners, external and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
    Preferably a graduate degree in a technical area or business administration (relevant experience may compensate for educational requirements).

  • Experience:
    To be successful in this role we believe you have genuine experience in a leadership role with proficiency in financial management, data analysis, project management and performance metrics/KPIs.Project management experience, particularly of an international nature, is beneficial.

  • Change Management Expertise:
    Demonstrated experience in managing change, growth, and integration, with a strong background in business planning and implementation.

  • Language Skills:
    Fluent in English and Scandinavian languages is needed. For this role all communication with internal stakeholders will be in English and Danish/Swedish/Norweigian.

  • Industry Experience:
    Prior experience in a similar role within the software development sector is highly desirable, especially with a focus on public transport.

  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in digital tools like Excel, ERP systems, BI tools, and project planning tools.
