We are looking for someone who is motivated by delivering high-quality payroll services and driven to continuously improve ongoing processes to ensure a great employee experience, process optimization, and compliance.

As the new Payroll Specialist, you will also help create new ways of working and ensure written process guidelines. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders such as the People Advisory team, People Partners, and vendors.

With a curious and investigative approach to your tasks, you will be in charge of validating payroll results and provide approvals for final pay credits when solving the following responsibilities:

  • Bi-weekly (6 groups) and 1 Monthly payroll reconciliation and new payroll preparation
  • Pay salary according to 7 different union agreements
  • Ensuring timely Social Insurance Tax Payment and Reporting
  • Managing advance payments
  • Reimbursement requests
  • Continuous contact with partners, with the pension provider and with e-income
  • Being risk aware and help identify, report, mitigate and track risks in the payroll delivery process
  • Provide accounting files to Finance along with the necessary documentation for internal and externalaudit
  • Managing the timely submission of RICC controls
  • Facilitating knowledge transfer across different parties involved in servicedelivery in the current operating model, the core program team,external implementation partner, etc.

There can be various entry points for this position, but we would like you to have relevant experience managing payroll and time tracking processes in a complex, international organization. Most importantly, you will have in-depth knowledge of compliance and legal regulations for payroll and benefits in Denmark. Broader experience with HR operations and an outsourced payroll model is an advantage.

As a person, you exude integrity and good energy, and you have a collaborative work style that promotes cooperation and teamwork to find solutions. You have a highly analytical approach with a strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude geared towards continuous improvement.
