Do you want to be part of an inspiring work environment? We are looking for a Procurement Specialist.

The Procurement Specialist is part of the Finance role family accountable for the accurate financial representation of Nord Pool’s operations. As Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for performing the daily operational Procurement activities including negotiating prices, business and legal terms and conditions to generate savings and mitigate risks while respecting corporate policies and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing project related activities related to the ERP system, enhancements, maintenance, and training of end users. In this position you will be an integral part of the Nord Pool accounting team and the procurement team in the Euronext group.

Working place will be at Lysaker, Oslo and this role reports to the Chief Accountant in Nord Pool.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Procurement Specialist you will:

  • Engage with system related project activities, enhancements, maintenance, issue resolution and end user training
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable team to facilitate vendor payment and resolve system related payment issues
  • Participate in the production of Procurement KPI’s and key reports (weekly, monthly dashboards);
  • Negotiate priceon ad hoc requirements and long-term contract (new and renewed);
  • Review/Control purchase requisitions (incl. support to Business to raise requisitions), in line with Procurement Policy;
  • Process PO’s and send them to vendors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of implementing, improving, and overseeing P2P processes
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics (D365) ERM system is highly preferable.
  • Experience in procurement, negotiation/sourcing, vendor management and contract management;
  • Experience of IT related sourcing preferable;
  • University degree or equivalent – MBA preferred.
  • Well organized with strong problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Highly motivated, willing, and able to learn, demonstrate initiative;
  • Work well in teams with a strong attention to detail;
  • Able to balanceneed for high level of accuracy with tight deadlines
  • Strong technical and communication skills;
  • Excellent Norwegian and English skills, both written and oral;
  • Strong internaldrive to improve processes;
