Create value through data across the organisation
Located in Aarhus, you'll support the development of data frameworks, collaborating closely with Customer Support and Data Analytics to collect reliability-relevant data from operational customer systems. Your responsibilities span the implementation and maintenance of TCO tools, optimization of existing cost models, and the creation of a comprehensive TCO toolbox equipped with user-friendly interfaces and calculation models. The business focus will primarily encompass Airport and Logistic products and solutions.
Your responsibilities and tasks will include
- Development of data framework for collection of reliability relevant data from operational customer systems in cooperation with Customer Support and Data Analytics
- Collection of TCO relevant data from organisation, sub suppliers and operational systems
- Implementation of specified reliability model in relevant software
- Implementation and maintaining TCO tools based on specifications from Customer Support
- Maintaining product cost/TCO models based on information and data gathered from operational systems
- Improvement and optimization of existing product cost/TCO models by including additional scope and/or improve/optimize inputs to models based on data
- Maintenance of a TCO toolbox including overall user interfaces, functionalities, and calculation models
- Supporting sales departments and Customer Support worldwide in Total Cost of Ownership calculations e.G., to be used in customer performance sales contracts and residential service contracts both on new and existing products and systems.
Your background, competences, and interests
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), mathematics, computer science or equivalent.
- Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer or equivalent.
- Interest in product life cycle calculations (MTBF, MTBM, MTTM, MTTR, reliability, availability, Total Cost of Ownership, etc.).
- Experience in ReliaSofts platform including Weibull++, BlockSim, RCM++ and XFMEA or
similar software tools are preferred but not a must.
- Understanding of statistical models for reliability and availability calculations.
- Experience or interest in databases and SQL
- Experience or interest in visual basic
- A structured and detailed working approach in the processing of product life cycle data.
- Prepared for travels as needed specifically related to the cooperation with BEUMER Group in Beckum, Germany.
