Arla is currently looking for a new Production Development Associate to enter into an early-career position with great opportunities for learning and growing. You will report to Arla’s Group Vice President for Production, Jeroen Boon, who is keen to welcome you onto an exciting development journey. The journey will often involve tasks that are complex and require a strong analytical mindset coupled with self-motivation and desire to learn and deliver. That is why Jeroen is looking for a highly talented individual for this important role.

In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to experience how senior management work, and you will become an essential part of the Global Production Leadership team, where your role will be to support an effective meeting structure as well as drive and support key global projects. How You Will Make an Impact
You will report to the Group Vice President for Production, who is responsible for our SC Production and driving quality, cost and service across all product categories. Your responsibility would be to act as a trusted business partner for Group Vice President for production and support the Global Production leadership team.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will drive projects across the business and follow up on strategic tasks. In addition, you will conduct ad-hoc analyses, tasks and presentations. A highly strategic and operational role, where you will be a close sparring partner and support for the Group Vice President with, among other things:

• Support GVP of Production in driving leadership team meetings, the annual wheel, progress on selected projects and ensure communication material for various fora
• Drive activities in the business plans including cross-functional Continuous Improvements
• Support investment processes together with internal stakeholders
• Act as project manager on selected smaller projects across the geographies
• Engage with the members of the Production leadership team in optimizing our business in order to stay competitive
• Play an important part in the day-to-day effective business management
• We expect that you are independent, self-driven and thrive working in a fast-paced and changing environment.

What Will Make You Successful
To be successful in this role, you must be a skilled communicator and networker who enjoys challenging and influencing top management. Also, you must be eager to learn and have passion for Supply Chain combined with a can do attitude. And with your strategic and operational flair, you have an exceptional capability for solving complex problems.

In addition:

• You have a master’s degree in engineering, food science, business or other commercial degree and have tested yourself with some relevant experience either in a similar FMCG/dairy role or from a consulting background
• You have an analytical approach, a strong consulting toolbox and solid project management skills
• You are a Excel data and power point wizard
• You are confident and comfortable when working alongside, presenting to and constructively challenging senior executives
• You proactively contribute with and provide strategic sparring and advice and you are able to drive projects independently - with guidance of course.
