We are looking for an energetic and professional (Senior) Project Manager to be part of this exciting start-up office for IPS EMEA in Denmark. At IPS, you’ll apply your knowledge, skills and passion to make a difference in the lives of people, solving complex challenges related to pharmaceutical, biotech, and animal health research and manufacturing facilities

The (Senior) Project Manager will provide leadership on various projects situated in Denmark in collaboration with a project director or in direct relation with clients depending on project size and complexity. Experience with the operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical production sites (or similar) as well as the capability to create trust-based relationships within IPS and client organization will be a key success factor in this role.

YOUR ROLE

  • Interact with the client operations-, maintenance- and project-teams to coordinate the execution of projects from design to construction and qualification, dedicated to a specific client site.
  • Develop project-, preconstruction- and construction execution plans and other documentation related to the project as required
  • Collaborate with the IPS project director to define resource needs for the assigned projects
  • Ensure project goals in terms of (schedule, budget, quality) are met and all deviations are monitored and aligned with the client and IPS management in a timely manner
  • Work closely with IPS project controls services to develop project schedules and to monitor project costs, design and construction progress.
  • Monitor project risks and proposes
  • Lead engineering, construction and CQV teams dedicated to the assigned project
  • Ensure fluid, organized, documented communication between all project participants.
  • Ensure that all IPS design, construction and compliance activities on projects comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Procurement and the client organisation to select construction contractors and suppliers of material.
  • Assume primary responsibility for all activities on assigned construction sites including the coordination of contractors,
  • Assume primary responsibility for site safety
  • Assume special projects as assigned

Qualifications &
Requirements

YOUR PROFILE

10+ years’ experience in Project and/or Construction Management in large and medium projects Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree. Substantial experience in Project Delivery and/or Construction Management or a related discipline. Fluent in English and ideally in Danish Position will be based in Copenhagen with client-site work and business related travel Mechanical systems pre-commissioning/commissioning experience desirable Turnaround / Shut-Down experiences desirable Knowledgeable of international and Danish Safety and Quality standards, as well as codes and industry practices Ability to interpret multidisciplinary (piping, structural, electrical schemes, civil, etc.) drawings, specifications and other documents. Ability to interpret and to support the creation of work schedules Microsoft office package (Excel, Word, Project &
Outlook) user
