Your background:

- A university degree at a Bachelor level or an equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in drilling, well services, maintenance, and / or production.
- Previous experience as an Offshore Superintendent or HSE Advisor / Superintendent.
- Formal training in human factors / organizational behavior and incident investigation
- Strong organizational, time management, analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under limited supervision and function.
- Ability to obtain and maintain current BOSIET Certificate and offshore medical - the jobholder is expected to travel offshore as part of their duties to conduct safety briefings, inspections, audits and general communication activities as required.
Activities
As a Safety Advisor you serve as the focal point for safety culture and the authority for human factors in TotalEnergies Denmark. This position is responsible for supporting Operations through engagement, development, and maintenance of fit for purpose processes and supporting tools. You will ensure that TotalEnergies Denmark maintains a consistent and high-quality safety onboarding / induction program for employees and contractors with the objective of improving safety awareness and create and manage a safety leadership program that cascades from affiliate leadership to the frontline. In addition, it is expected to maintain a high level of frontline engagement to ensure ownership of and participation in safety at all levels of the organization.
As a member of the Operational Safety team, it will also be necessary to assist peers with the review and documentation of other Operational Safety procedures as deemed necessary and will be called upon to support wider HSE function activities as directed.
This role requires constant and consistent identification and engagement with stakeholders. Pro-actively identify change and provide the business with the tools and capabilities to ensure the change impact is understood and correctly embedded, covering people, equipment, processes and systems. Be customer focused and provide a consistent approach across all levels and authorities of the organization regarding operational safety.
Key responsibilities include tasks such as:

  • Drive the use in human factors in all facets of the business in order to improve the TotalEnergies Denmark safety culture.
  • Create and maintain plans for achieving a positive safety cultural in the affiliate.
  • Contribute to raise HSE risk awareness within the workforce.
  • Develop and run seasonal safety campaigns as required by the business
  • Organize safety incident reflection movies.
  • Plan and direct the TotalEnergies Denmark's World Day for Safety.
  • Harmonization of airport, site, and affiliate-level safety inductions.
  • Participate in investigations and Return of Experience processes as the human factors subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with the affiliate Operational Safety Leaders to deliver incident free operations.
  • Safety onboarding / inductions for all TotalEnergies Denmark employees and staff.
  • Maintenance of a good incident reporting culture and verification of reporting quality.
  • Effective use of human factors in incident investigation/root cause analysis.
