Do you want tojoin a global leader inrenewable energy infrastructure investments? If so, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the perfect place for you! We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Management Finance team in Copenhagen.

The team

The Management Finance team currently consists of 15 people divided in the two sub-teams Accounting and Reporting.

Overall, the team plays a vital role in providing insight on CIP’s financial performance and to ensure statutory compliance.

In addition, the accounting team is responsible for overseeing 20+ entities, as well as being the key driver in ensuring that costs are distributed to the proper entities or funds.

Due to the rapid growth of number of funds and investors globally, we are looking to expand the team further.

Role

As a result of continued growth CIP wants to strengthen its finance function with a Senior Accountant for the Management Finance team in Copenhagen. As our new Senior Accountant, you will become part of a growing and dynamic team and participate in the further development of our setup in finance.

Main priorities and focus areas in the role will be ensuring that costs are impacting the proper entity or fund, approval flows and follow-ups with respective departments as well as dimension bookings.

In this role you will work closely with and report to Accounting Manager, Tanja Martinussen towards strengthening the accounting function within AP &
EM and to ensure reliable and accurate bookkeeping in a timely manner.

In more detail, your tasks are expected to be, but not limited to:

  • End-to-end bookkeeping of Vendor invoices and expense management
  • Preparation of payments
  • Coordination of task and work schedule for AP/EM consultant and analysts
  • Supporting and participation in Month-End closing
  • Collection and preparation of audit material (PBC) to the external auditors
  • Process optimizations and development.
  • Controlling tasks

You

We expect you to have a bachelor’s degree (or similar) in accounting, finance or another relevant education combined with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant full-time experience from a role as Senior Accountant or similar. You will contribute with your expertise, highly structured work ability and innovative approach to make sure that you and the finance management team continue to deliver high-quality accounting and reporting within stringent deadlines in a high-pace environment.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships within and across teams.
  • A determined, consistent, and self-driven approach to your tasks with attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a desire to work in a growing and increasingly complex international organization.
  • A natural motivation for developing and building effective processes.
  • Proficiency in both English and Danish.
