Do you have experience in embedded software or IoT, and want to work in product compliance with cyber security, legislation, and standards for connected products and solutions?

We are expanding our Product Compliance organization, to match the increasing demand from cyber security obligations worldwide. I am looking for a specialist with a strong foundation in embedded software or the IoT device domain. Perhaps you are at the point in your career, where you want to take it to the next level and apply that experience to close the gap between innovation and compliance. You will not be writing the code, but you will work closely with development teams across Grundfos and work with requirements, architecture, code review and verification,” says Senior Manager, Thomas Young Olesen.

What is the job about?

As a Senior Digital Compliance Specialist, you will help ensure the compliance of IoT products with a digital element that enables connectivity, data processing and artificial intelligence.

Your core subject matter will be in the domain of compliance obligations for cyber security, artificial intelligence, and data protection.

Your primary task will be to support product development, system integrators, software-, and security architects, to navigate and scope compliance requirements, for IoT and connected products, to serve a global market.

This requires the ability to close the gap between legislation and technology, and align with stakeholders, consolidate requirements, plan what needs to be done, and steer a range of certification projects with third-party testing laboratories, national regulators, and conformity assessment bodies.

Additionally, you will maintain and develop organizational capabilities as well as your own specialist knowledge concerning IoT, cyber security, artificial intelligence, data privacy requirements, standards, and compliance for Grundfos products.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Identifying and specifying cyber security, AI, and data protection obligations and requirements for digital products. On a global, regional, and national level.
  • Defining assurance and requirements to justify cyber security, AI, and data protection compliance for digital products.
  • Managing cyber security, AI, and data protection assessment and certification projects with third-party laboratories.
  • Performing conformity assessment for cyber security, AI, and data protection requirements and obligations for digital products.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing within compliance and the digital compliance team.
  • Deliver cyber security, AI, and data protection compliance training to colleagues and collaboration partners across Grundfos.
  • Keeping up to date with new obligations, requirements, legislation, standards, etc., in the domain of cyber security, AI, and data protection.
  • Supporting technology development and innovation with the special attention on product compliance in the domain of cyber security, AI, and data protection.

What do you need to apply?

We imagine that you have:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of embedded software and IoT devices.
  • Good understanding of connected-systems and systems-of-systems.
  • Good understanding of cyber security risks for IoT and connected devices.
  • Interest in working with product compliance, legislation, and standards,
    e.G., EN 303 645, IEC 62443, ISO 27001, EU RED DA, EU CRA, UK PSTI, EU NIS2, etc...
  • Good ability to collaborate and coordinate cross-functional delivery tracks.
