The position
As a Senior Lean Partner, you will be responsible for leading a process improvement concept called the Improvement Cycle (I-cycle).

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Acting as an improvement expert with a small team for 3-month periods, enhancing processes across the organization approximately 3 times a year.
  • Ensuring that benefits are scoped and validated.
  • Ensuring the new process is anchored in the Line of Business after implementation.
  • Training new colleagues in improvement cycles, either as participants or facilitators.

As Sourcing Operations has increased the focus on digitalization, you will collaborate closely with our digital team integrating Lean and digitalization as levers for optimization of our business.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we expect you to:

  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Possess a background in lean, either obtained within your studies or from previous work experience focusing on tangible improvements with your being the facilitator or owner of the improvement
  • Have a passion for coaching or a keen interest in it
  • Be fluent in both spoken and written English and Danish

As a person, you have excellent communication, facilitation, and visualization skills. You are passionate about lean and improving processes with a small team. We expect that you can communicate to management, but also understand and create structure in data and create structure and clarity in a complex process.

About the department

You will be part of an already thriving team - cLEAN &
Process Optimization. The team consists of 8 LEAN partners with mid to high LEAN experience together with a student worker. It’s expected to collaborate on cross-functional tasks with other team members, but you will mostly be heading up activities on your own. The team spirit is very open and honest, and we strive to foster a positive feedback culture.

The Business Support department operates within Sourcing Operations (SoOp), managing the inbound supply chain of direct spend materials at Novo Nordisk. Our primary focus includes driving and executing key strategic projects, implementing business plans, fostering cultural transformation, and advancing digitalization and business intelligence. We are committed to remaining forward-thinking, leading the way in new methodologies, and showcasing adaptability. Our team, based in Bagsværd and soon relocating to Taastrup in December 2024. While located primarily in Taastrup, collaboration with colleagues from the Hillerød shopfloor is essential, requiring an average of one day in Bagsværd/Taastrup, three days in Hillerød, and one day working remotely from home.
