Do you want to use your specialist knowledge on some of the most high-profile infrastructure, utility, and urban development projects in the industry? And are you an engineer with several years of experience within drainage and climate adaption? And can you solve complex technical drainage issues and step into the role as Discipline Lead, Project Manager or Specialist? Then, this is the place to apply your knowledge and curiosity to enable a better tomorrow.
Turn challenges into sustainable solutions
To help us shape the green transition and strengthen our team within drainage, we are looking for experienced Discipline Leads and Project Managers to join our team and play an important role in creating the solutions of the future. We are 170 colleagues working alongside our customers on some of Denmark’s most significant projects in the field of drainage. And we are thrilled to have contributed to projects like a new 8 km underground cloudburst tunnel, Folemarksvej underground basin of 12.000 m³, The town of Nye designed with a sustainability drainage solution or designing 3.600 m³ basin storage under existing stadium in Copenhagen etc.

Your key activities will be:

  • Lead and facilitate projects within e.G., designing climate adaption of drainage and sewer systems, development of integrated urban drainage solutions and resilient and sustainable drainage systems etc.
  • Dive into technical solutions within water and climate adaption such as:
  • Management of surface stormwater on terrain integrated in design of blue-green solutions, rain beds, SUDS, open and underground stormwater basins etc.
  • Renovation and design of overflow structures, underground wastewater basins, pumpstations, offshore projects, stormwater tunnels etc.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues across COWI (e.G., landscape, road, rail, construction, port and coastal construction etc.)
  • Convey your knowledge to junior colleagues and the rest of the team

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.
The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways, but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with at least one discipline in drainage (e.G. designing of pipes, climate adaptation, pumping stations, offshore pipelines or similar) and experience as Discipline Lead and Project Manager
  • A degree in engineering
  • Flair for customer and contractor contact
  • Ability to work efficiently and structured
  • Advanced communication skills in both Danish and English - both oral and written
