Senior Project Specialist - assist our factories in creating change
Are you ready to be at the very forefront when we support our production sites in implementing and sustaining our LEAN methodologies? And to and carry out projects that enhance our productivity, reduce our waste and take us to the next level?
Then join us and become an invaluable support for management and other colleagues on our factories, as you assist them in carrying out their continuous improvement projects on factories in Northern and Western Europe.

All your projects contribute to our overall strategic direction, which give you the chance to make an impact – on our organization and on your own career.

Welcome to our Continuous Improvement team
The colleagues in your new team consists of 7 senior project specialists and project specialists as well as occasional graduates. Together, we run various efficiency projects in our abattoirs and processed factories with our internal LEAN programme OPTIMA as our primary toolbox.

Run efficiency projects and ensure permanent change
Your main focus will be on the development, implementation, and continuous employment of our OPTIMA LEAN program on our locations as you facilitate and support the establishment of new operational standards.

At the same time, you will manage your own projects focusing on e.G. optimizing departments or production lines on factories in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK. 90% of your time will be spent on our sites and depending on the needs of the projects, you will work abroad Monday-Thursday for longer periods of time.

Some of your most important tasks will be to:

  • Collaborate closely with factory management and other local experts and leaders – including onboarding, agreement on time plans, continuous alignment on progress and guidance in using the OPTIMA toolbox
  • Carry out process optimisation and change management and ensure that new processes are sustained – even after the project is officially completed through the OPTIMA toolbox
  • Analyse data and performance and translate your findings into actionable conclusions or potentials and break your plans down to KPIs

Experienced LEAN practitioner and project manager
You stand our ground enough to challenge current best practice – and when doing so, you make sure to take a co-operative and open-minded approach. Because at the very core, you are a people person, and this enables you to meet all stakeholders at the level that they are at, no matter how naturally working with LEAN comes to them.
While handling several projects and tasks at once, you prioritize clearly, and you possess enough foresight to reach out to stakeholders in advance in order to ensure timely execution.

Furthermore, we e imagine that you:

  • Have a well-equipped LEAN toolbox and solid experience with project and change management – preferably in a production environment
  • Could be an engineer, perhaps within production, MSc in supply chain management or perhaps a production manager, experience from the food industry – what is important is your ability to work with people as well as analyse and understand data
  • Have extensive business know-how, which makes it easy for you to relate to the entire value chain.
