Th is role is critical to Hempel’s transformation journey, and pivotal for our strategy execution
As Strategy Execution Manager, you will play a key part in streamlining and developing our strateg ic activities a s well is continue strengthening our project management muscle. Y ou will be responsible for conducting strategic analyses and facilitating strategy formulation work in close collaboration with both the Strategy &
Transformation Office team a s well as a broad range of stakeholders across segments and functions. Stakeholders includ e the Hempel Leadership Team, specialists and project managers around the world. You will be instrumental in dr iving strategy execution through activ e engagement and co -creation with colleagues, always keeping an eye on priorities, value creation potential and cohesion.

Areas you will cover include:

• D e velop data driven strategic scenarios

• Facilitate the development of functional playbooks / strategies

• Nurture and d evelop strategy execution oriented enterprise-wide communities, incl. for local PMO s (project management office)

• Pr ovide dedicated support to strategic initiatives to drive measurable progress

• Develop Hempel’s project model

• Compile decision material for the Executive Group Management and the Board of Directors

• Provide inspiration, sparring and engage where it help s further strengthen ing our ability to execute

• Engage closely with Business Finance and Market intel teams to ensure financial robustness in and proficient market understanding rel e v a nt to strategic activities

Y ou a re a n experienced project manager , and a gifted stakeholder manage r

The ideal candidate for this role would need to have a proven track record of strategy execution in a global organisation. In addition to solid work experience, we value curiosity and collaboration skills. And that it comes with a positive attitude and genuine care for the people around you without losing the focus on the end goal.

Qualifications and skills include :

• 5+ years of experience from management consulting / an inhouse strategy function / project management

• A nalytical way of thinking, possibly acquired from an educational background in engineering, business, finance, etc.

• O utcome oriented with a solid understanding of when to be pragmatic and when not to compromise on approach or quality

• Experience driving projects from ideation to planning

• Ex perience running projects from kick-off to r etrospective

• Excellent at c onnecting with people and at understanding their objectives and motivations

• Curious and constructive

• Well above average Powerpoint and Excel skills

• Digital ly savvy with a basic understanding of and interest in trends in newtech

• Empathetic

Transformation Office
As Strateg y Ex ecution Manager you will daily work alongside our Strategic Portfolio Managers and Business Analyst in Hempel’s Strategy &
Transformation Office. Our department is responsible for co ntinuously strengthening the execution of Hempel’s corporate strategy, Double Impact . This includes making sure we as a company navigate by the right information (markets, competitors and performance), have the right governance and st ep in t o ensure that projects fo llow the path to success. The department resides under the Executive Vice President of Digital, Strategy &
Transformation. You will be reporting to Mads Møller Borch ( linkedin.Com/in/madsmoellerborch ), Head of Strategy &
Transformation Office. The Strategy &
Transformation Office team has vast experience from related functions in various industr ies as well as management consulting. We ha ve a low level of formality - and we are excited about the perspectives of welcoming new, great people to the team!
