You will be joining our dynamic team of talented structural engineering specialists on an exhilarating journey of designing cutting-edge hub modules for our next-generation turbines! As a key member of our department, you will play a pivotal role in crafting future hub designs, taking them from visionary concepts to rigorously tested and verified products, ready for serial production. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and diverse development environment, where your innovative ideas and expertise will be highly valued. Working closely with a brilliant team of professionals, you'll have the chance to forge strong partnerships with colleagues based in Denmark, Spain, and India.
The position will be based in Brande, Midtjylland DK.
How To Contribute To Our Vision
You will play a vital role in developing cutting-edge hubs for the next generation of wind turbines. These turbines are larger, more powerful, and present exciting new challenges that will push the boundaries of innovation. Your expertise in structural calculations, using FEA and analytical methods according to Eurocode and certified guidelines, will be crucial to our success. We'll rely on your skills to ensure the structural integrity and reliability of primarily steel and cast iron structures, both under extreme and fatigue conditions.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of dynamic evaluations and investigations, providing valuable inputs for field and prototype testing. Working alongside a high-performing team, you'll collectively implement necessary updates to our design guidelines and internal tools, ensuring we stay at the forefront of innovation. Further you will perform the needed calculation for the certification packages and be part of writing and delivering the final certification documents. You'll have the unique opportunity to optimize existing designs, tools, and our overall approach. Your ideas and creativity will help us maintain our position as pioneers in the industry.
What You Need To Make a Difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. To thrive in this exciting role, you'll need the following qualifications and attributes:

  • M.Sc. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the structural field.
  • Experience within Ansys, APDL, Python and Matlab and are familiar with Eurocode and common guidelines and standards.
  • Experience in measurements, validation and vibration is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Approach your work with a thorough and structured mindset
  • Possess the ability to think outside the box and devise innovative solutions to overcoming challenges.
  • Independent and proactive self-starter, you'll take ownership of your projects and persistently pursue your goals.
  • You strive in a cross-functional, international setting and understand team dynamics.
  • You possess excellent English skills both verbal and writing.
