Technical Lead for Distributed Control Systems – Green Fuels and Energy

Power-to-X, CO₂ filters,waste incinerations, biomass power stations or heat accumulators? Do you have the ability and desire to technically teach and develop colleagues? Then take your chance and become our new Technical Lead for Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

Power the green transition by ensuring technical excellence within DCS
In this technical role, with focus on design and engineering of DCS systems, you will be the enabler and anchor point between our senior project managers and the cross- functional department’s process specialists and customers. We have an empowering and collaborative culture where your effort within your professional field will be highly valued. Our broad expertise enables multidisciplinary collaboration in energy storage, green hydrogen, e-fuels, pyrolysis and biomass conversion processes. You will join a department of more than 110 motivated colleagues specialized in energy, PtX process, piping and mechanical and electrical engineering, working alongside our customers on carbon capture projects for Avedøreværket (AVV57), Kredsløb, Vestforbrænding, Fjernvarme Fyn and HOFOR. Our primary market focus is Scandinavia, UK and North America.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Design, specification and engineering of DCS systems
  • Design of instrumentation for process plants
  • Writing and reviewing of control specifications for client tenders
  • Developing functional descriptions for specific energy processes
  • Actively work with projects in all phases:
    Conceptual design, Pre-project design and detailed design
  • Occasionally participate in site works like inspection and commissioning works
  • Professional proficiency in Danish and English, verbal as well as written

On top of that, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical engineering
  • At least 7-8 years of experience as an electrical engineer or in a similar role within the energy sector
  • In-depth experience in some of the following:
    Programming, process control, power plants or electrical systems
  • Excellent English language proficiency in writing complex technical documentation and tender material
  • A high degree of initiative, an open mind and a good sense of humor
