Veo - Financial Controller

The Finance Controller will be part of the finance team. It’s a motivated and highly skilled team with high aspirations for the development of the team and the team members. The finance team is open-minded, willing to adapt, accurate, detail-oriented, and focused, which are attributes we are looking for in this position too.

Veo is looking for a self-driven personality with the ability to identify and solve relevant tasks effectively in an ever-changing environment.

The role is needed since Veo is growing rapidly, and so are the projects and tasks in the Finance department.

Experience and skills Veo are looking for:

BA or Master in Finance or Accounting

3+ years in a financial controller role or 3+ years in a Danish accounting company

Experience and understanding of financial IT systems, especially Navision/Business Central

Strong experience in working with Excel.

Broad knowledge of the Danish accounting rules and VAT legislation

Great communication skills in Danish and in English (written as well as verbal)

Analytical and a broad financial toolbox to deliver results

Responsibilities in this position:

Participate and validate the month-end closing

Ensuring transactions are recorded accurately in our ERP systems so that they are correctly allocated in the downstream reporting

Own reporting packs, ensure parts of statutory reporting and audit process

Build on and automate processes, so they are constantly smarter, faster, and more efficient

Investigate and resolve findings in regard to the controlling

Understand and handle different VAT and Sales Tax tasks, reporting, etc.

Understand and own the Intercompany setup and reconciliation

Generate and deliver reports internally as needed
