How to contribute to our vision
We are looking for a Project Manager for our Global B NPI PMO Department in Aalborg, DK with experience in leading manufacturing projects for wind turbines Blades within New Product Introduction, Technology Transfer, New Features and New Plant Set Up. The Project Manager will manage, lead, develop internal procedures to ensure that the project team achieves set goals in accordance with agreed timeline, budget and quality.

We provide a highly complex and exiting working environment where we expect that the Project Manager is skilled in leading the constructive cooperation cross internal &
external stakeholders.

High level communication skills are required for the ideal candidate for this position to manage the cooperation amongst the stakeholders, prepare reports and present to management.

Key Role:

  • Experienced Project Manager. Preferably the candidate has prior experience in the Blade manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Project Manager leading the feasibility, planning, development &
    execution of blade manufacturing production for new products, new features and technology transfer.
  • While the Project Manager does not have direct reports, she or he will lead a project team with resources allocated by various resource owners in the organization.
  • Office location mainly in Aalborg, DK
  • The PM is responsible to secure that the project deliverables are handed from the resources allocated to the project according to projects time schedule, quality and budget.

Key tasks involve:

  • All project management activities.
  • Responsible for the overall success of the project, leading the project team, manage and reporting to Steering Committee and stakeholders
  • Negotiate resources allocation to the project
  • Facilitate project team and stakeholder meetings &
    workshops
  • Set up reporting structure for following up on the progress of the project.
  • Prepare and present Status Updates to management.

Some key Stakeholder will be:

  • Project Ordering Party and Steering Committee (Senior Management)
  • Platform management team
  • Manufacturing Plants.
  • Design and Manufacturing Engineers
  • Procurement, Quality and Safety department
  • External Suppliers and Consulting Engineers

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change with following requirements:

  • Fluent in English as we are a Global function.
  • Work location in Aalborg, Denmark but you should also expect some travel days. Working from home and/or other offices is accepted with proper agreement with reporting manager.
  • Solid communication skills to manage communication cross complex organization and stakeholders
  • Project Management background
  • Engineer or with a technical background, or equivalent experience within industry.
  • Energetic with follow-through attitude.
  • Structured and able to multitask in good order.
  • Able to co-operate across different cultures and personalities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
