RISMA has proven their value and position in the market and grown from a start up in 2014 and taken the next step as a scale up company where we were listed on Nasdaq in March 2021. We are +50 employees and have around 500 clients and expect double digit growth in 2024.


The market for GRC-solution platforms is on the verge of an exciting journey, launching into an unmatured market with an extensive growth potential. RISMA is therefore expanding and looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join the Sales Team on this exciting journey.


What you’ll do


As a Senior Account Executive, you have an important role and responsibility in RISMA’s future growth and expansion in the Nordics. Many of our existing clients have 1, 2 or 3 of our solutions and are not aware that we have launched the markets best – and for now only – GRC platform in the mid-market, consisting of +20 different solutions.


New clients are typically unaware that we have a platform, they come to us with one issue (for instance GDPR, ISMS or Contract Management), and they often like the idea that we have a platform they can grow inside.


We believe, for you to have success, it will be key that you engage with other teams internally and make sure that many activities are carried out.


Your primary focus will be on accelerating business growth and capturing market share by acquiring new customers, sprinkled with some existing customers.


You will book most of your own meetings as well as you will have client leads coming from our homepages, external events, partners and internal stakeholders.


To succeed, you must collaborate with internal teams and ensure the execution of various activities. You will also need to book some of your own meetings, as many clients are unaware of our full range of solutions.


Your success will be supported by our implementation team and driven by your high energy levels. As a Senior Account Executive, you will join a sales team of about 5 dedicated colleagues located at our Danish HQ, where you will be based.


You will report to RISMA’s sales director in Denmark. Our commercial team includes salespeople, former consultants, GRC experts, marketing specialists, and implementation specialists, offering extensive internal collaboration opportunities.


Some of your key responsibilities will include:



  • Manage the entire sales process by engaging with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, Heads of Compliance, Risk Managers, CFOs, DPOs, and others.
  • Engaging with internal teams to execute sales activities effectively.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting by using our CRM system, Hubspot, to manage client information and sales processes.
  • Develop and execute strong strategies for key clients.


Required &
Preferred Skills:



  • Team Player, high energy level and strong organizational skills are a must.
  • A “boardroom appearance” will be advantageous.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in consultancy or SaaS solution sales;
    experience in GRC is a plus. Experience with sustainability, an even bigger plus.
  • Ability to establish trusted advisor relationships with decision-makers, both c- level and specialists.
  • Ability to get In-depth industry knowledge and commercial and technical understanding of SaaS applications.
  • Strong negotiation, closing skills, and ability to drive opportunities with a structured approach
  • Native speaking Danish and fluent in English, with an understanding of other Scandinavian languages.
