The job:

We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our manufacturing site in Roskilde. You will be fully responsible for driving the production to the next level, using your excellent leadership and communication skills. You are an integral part of the leadership team with opportunity to grow and enhance your career, Your main focus as the Senior Manager will be to improve and expand the productivity on our site.

This will be a great opportunity for someone who truly enjoys leading people and who has a continuous improvement mindset.

You will report into Director Operations and lead up to 9 direct reports, responsible for the whole manufacturing site including 200 staff members.

What will you do?

- Responsible for ensuring Safety as a top priority in manufacturing, and to secure EHS compliance
- Ensure 5S principles are embedded in the manufacturing areas
- Responsible for ensuring Quality compliance in manufacturing as a top priority. Secure that the products are produced according to specified quality criteria, on time and in compliance with regulatory requirements
- People management to ensure a high performing, efficient team with focus on job satisfaction and people development
- Ensure training and follow up on training
- Drive productivity improvements through involvement, and applying our PPI Business System
- Communication, execution and reporting on production plans and KPI’s
- Accountable for meeting targets for manufacturing output, labor efficiency and productivity
- Accountable for ensuring that staffing on all levels in the manufacturing is optimal
- Budget control in own area

Who we are looking for:

- Demonstrated strong leadership skills through front-line visionary leadership
- Demonstrated cultural change (higher level of responsibility, accountability and engagement)
- Demonstrated success in delivering commitments, building high performing team
- Preferably management experience in a GMP(ISO1385) regulated manufacturing environment, including management of managers
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable education – Master degree is preferred
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma and/or other effective methods and tools to drive towards high levels of operational excellence
- Ability to support 24/7
- Good English skills
